HOW DO I...transfer super into Accumulate Plus from another super fund?

Things to know before you start:

  • Whenever you change funds you should check how it might affect any benefits you have in your other fund, such as insurance cover. We do not charge you a transfer or contribution fee, but you should also check if exit or withdrawal fees apply in your other fund.

Getting started:

  • Online transfer
    • Step 1.  Log into your Accumulate Plus account.

Step 2. Click on the ‘Consolidate super’ button on the home page dashboard and it will guide you through the search.

Step 3. The search will provide your super results within a few moments.  If you find another account, you can then simply click to bring it all together into Accumulate Plus if you wish.

  • Call us
    • Step 1: If you have the name and unique super identifier (USI) of your other super fund, as well as your account number handy, you can simply call us on 1800 023 928 to start the transfer process.

Step 2: Once we have these details from you, we’ll request the transfer electronically from your other fund, which will generally take a couple of days. Once we receive the super transfer, we’ll write to you confirming that the super is now in your Accumulate Plus account.

Note: We cannot initiate a transfer without the USI and account number of your other fund – if you don’t have these details handy, you can provide details about your Accumulate Plus account to your other fund and ask them to initiate a transfer (see below).

  • Complete our form
    • Step 1:

If you have the name and unique super identifier (USI) of your other super fund, as well as your account number handy, you can complete our Request to transfer super form – you’ll only need to complete Part A of this form if you’re only transferring your super balance (i.e. no insurance).

      Step 2:

Once we have received your completed form, we’ll request the transfer electronically from your other fund, which will generally take a couple of days. Once we receive the super transfer, we’ll write to you confirming that the super is now in your Accumulate Plus account.

  • Give your Accumulate Plus account details to your other fund
    • Step 1:

Contact your other super fund to request a transfer of your super to Accumulate Plus. As well as your Accumulate Plus account number, you may need to provide some or all of the following information about Accumulate Plus:

      • Unique Super Identifier (USI): OSF0001AU
      • Super Product Identification Number (SPIN): OSF0001AU
      • Fund name:Commonwealth Bank Group Super – Accumulate Plus
      • Fund ABN: 24 248 426 878

      Step 2:

Generally it should only take a couple of days for your other fund to make the transfer. Once we receive the super transfer, we’ll write to you confirming that the super is now in your Accumulate Plus account.
