Our goal is simple: to enhance your financial wellbeing, and that of your family, for retirement. We want to provide the right products to help you begin receiving an income from your super in retirement, the right tools to help you along the way and the right support when you need it most.

Retirement Access is our account-based pension and transition to retirement pension product. Here are some of the key features and benefits of starting a retirement pension with us:

  • Exclusively for you and your spouse
    • Our fund is not open to public membership – we’re here specifically for the benefit of current and former employees of the Commonwealth Bank Group. And because your family's financial wellbeing is just as important to us, we make it possible for your spouse (including a de facto) to join as well.

  • A focus on investment performance
    • We’re in the business of helping you build your savings but just as importantly, we want to help protect your savings too. Read more about our investment philosophy or investment performance and returns. You should remember that past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance.

  • Fees and costs
    • There are no fees to join Retirement Access, receive pension payments or make withdrawals, or switch investment options. Administration and investment fees apply to your account. Read more about fees.

  • Stay in touch with your super online
    • Once you begin receiving an income from your super, it becomes part of your day-to-day finances. We make it easy for you to keep track of your pension account balance in your Group Super Online app, where in addition to having a personalised dashboard and making transactions, you have access to tools and can forecast what your future super balance and retirement income needs may be.

  • Flexible payment options to suit you
    • If your account is invested in more than one investment option, you can give instructions for how you’d like your pension payments to be deducted from the options you’ve selected. There are three different options (note some rules may apply): in priority order, proportionately or pro rata (by percentage). Read more about these payment options.

  • Making it easy to access help and advice
    • Your financial wellbeing is what matters so to help you make the most of your account and plan for the future, we provide you with a few different ways to access help and advice options.
